A love letter to our clients over the holidays & how we are spending it.
To Our Wonderful Bonita Clients,
As the holiday season wraps us in its warm, cozy vibe, we wanted to pause for a moment and share something from the heart. This time of year can be magical, AND let’s be real, it’s also overwhelming. Amid the gift lists, meal prep, family, friends and whirlwind of holiday gatherings, stress tends to sneak in like an uninvited guest.
Here’s the truth: We’re just like you! We have families, traditions, and sometimes, chaotic holiday moments that make us laugh and also make us cry. And, as women who are committed to supporting other women, we’ve learned that showing up for you means first showing up for ourselves.
So, this season, we’re taking a little time off. (Don’t worry! We’ll be back before you know it!) For us, rest isn’t just a luxury — It’s a necessity. And we believe that shifting the paradigm on stress, self-care, and yes, even skincare, starts with leading by example.
How We’re Supporting Ourselves This Season
We thought we’d share a few things we’re doing to recharge and nurture ourselves during this break. We hope these tips may inspire your own holiday reset routine:
1. Simplify
We’re not chasing perfection. Instead of stressing over chasing the sparkly picture-perfect event, we’re focusing on meaningful moments. Whether that’s soaking up more one-on-one time, or learning to say ‘no’ when we feel the need for more private time, simplifying the season can mean something different to you. From one-pot soups, make-ahead casseroles, or hand-made gifts, easy gift sets to more time spent with family, you get to choose what ‘simple’ means for you. The goal? Spend more time off doing what we actually love. (For some of us, that’s indulging in more skincare!)
2. Prioritizing Skincare as Self-Care
We love a good holiday glow, but it’s not just about products. We’re moving into slow, mindful skincare routines:
A gentle evening cleanse to wash away the day.
A rich moisturizer or overnight mask to combat the winter dryness.
Five minutes of facial massage to boost circulation (and melt away tension).

3. Creating Space to Breathe
You’ve heard it before - “just breathe,” but we’re taking it seriously. Whether it's taking a deep slow breath before seeing your mother-in-law, taking a walk in the crisp air, or simply lighting a candle and sitting in silence, try carving out mini moments to reconnect with yourself. Especially amongst the chaos!
4. Nourishing Inside and Out
